Birth Day Presence is a premier provider of smart, non-judgmental doula, birth worker and lactation training. Founded in 2002 and serving over 20,000 families, Birth Day Presence is the longest-running and most trusted independent training center in New York City. Our professional trainings are available virtually nationwide. Our childbirth education classes for expecting and new parents have now moved to our sister company, boober.
Birth Day Presence is a platform for ongoing birth worker training. We are committed to equality, anti-racism, and birth justice as the lens through which all of our trainings are taught. BIPOC scholarships or PWYC spaces available in all workshops.

Part of the NYC Community
We love NYC and are proud to be the city’s premiere provider of doula, birth worker, and lactation counselor training. Birth Day Presence created and administered the Bellevue Hospital Birth Center Volunteer Doula Program, which, for five years (until it closed), assisted over 500 underprivileged women per year through their childbearing experience.
Birth Day Presence is proud to provide non-judgmental, nurturing support to all families and care providers.
