Breathwork for Birthworkers

The lifestyle of a Birth Worker can be demanding. As we strive to hold sacred space for our clients’ birth experiences and support them in parenthood it is possible that we hold onto the stories, emotions, energy and experiences of our clients. Self-care practices are necessary to support Birth Workers so that we don’t suffer from burnout or chronic fatigue.

The breath is the gateway to the nervous system. It is a technology for self-healing. Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to release physically, mentally and emotionally. This experience can help move stagnant energy and facilitates a release of strong emotions like anger, fear and grief. It most often leaves folks feeling lighter, more open and free.

What to expect:
This FREE 1 hour online workshop will begin with a welcome and check-in. You will be instructed on how to apply the breath technique. The breathwork will be led with music and end with grounding techniques to help your mind and body integrate the experience.
