Postpartum Planning: A Workshop for Pregnant and Postpartum Parents

Now is the time to think about what happens AFTER the birth of your baby, when you are sent home to start your life as a new parent. What will those first weeks or months really look like? What is the plan for when you are alone to fend for yourself? What about sleep? What about the transition of going back to work? What is parental leave really like?

Please join Tina Goldstein, postpartum doula, for an interactive workshop to help you get a heads up on the realities of postpartum and devise your own postpartum plan. Find out how to plan for meals, to get more sleep, to ensure that you have the necessary resources when needed, like where to find an IBCLC (what’s that?) or a New Parent Support Group. The workshop will include time for discussion with your partner (or family member or doula) so that you and your partner will leave with a sense of “being on the same page” in knowing what to expect in the 4th trimester and how to plan for it. This workshop is open to couples as well as single parents.
