Support Group for Parents of Newborns with Vanessa Aja-Sigmon
Life as a new parent involves a huge adjustment period. A lot of what you already feel can be exacerbated by living in quarantine: loneliness, low support, highs and lows, scary unknowns, blurry days, difficulty leaving home, and feeling stir-crazy.
Remain connected by meeting virtually with other new moms to address your biggest questions and worries, learn about your newborn, acquire tips and tricks for coping, and to remind yourself that you’re not alone in this. Over a 5 week cycle we will cover:
– the fourth trimester baby
– getting sleep
– feeding (in all its forms)
– new mom anxiety/worry
– co-parenting
– and more
These 2-hour drop-in sessions are facilitated by Vanessa Aja-Sigmon, an experienced childbirth/newborn care educator, former doula, and certified lactation counselor who is a mother herself. Limited to the first 13 registrants.
Packages of 5 for the price of 4 available. Limited number of pay-what-you-can seats also available. Contact us to find out more.
*This group is for parents of newborns between 0-12 weeks only.*
